The bell does not stop ringing, until I pick the mobile. It is same old silence, followed by an sms, when I keep down the mobile, after listening to nothing. The sms is surprising and shocking and in a way, contains the reply to my several days' curtiosity. I am dumbstuck.
A train of questions sets off in my mind. Actually, since day one, I am surprised as he will always call me, but will never speak, or utter a word or so. In his sms's, he demonstrated his love for me. Actually, our love story initiated a few weeks back, as one day, while I have been e-chatting, I found one name ROHIN with whom I have chatted for a while, and then after he will always chat me for hours together. I had hair fetish since long, but I have never satisfied my long-timed wish for a 'haircut'. Today again, I get his sms. But, every time, I have always got his call, he will never speak, and just silently sigh. Today, he discloses that he is dumb. Now, a chain of queries erupt like valcono in my mind? Can I befriend a dumb fellow? How can a dumb be so interesting? Still, I wish to see him. I wish to meet him face to face.
Still, I am so so so impressed by his sms's.
He told me that he likes haircuts, and short hair on girls was her first preference. I always had long, untrimmed and boring hair, since my birth. Even during my school days, all the pulls and pressures by my classmates to get my hair shingled ended in vain. Even while in college, the futile efforts by my classfellows to style my hair by snipping it around were routine. However, I had always stuck to traditional buns, plaids, braids or bi-pony hair system. Keeping the hair open or untied was strictly no-no in my family. Still, I managed to keep it open on a couple of times, on party days in college and shool, without informing my parents. Actually I would tie my hair in a bun and would open it in the educational institution,when the other girls would have been dressing up calming, beautifully and gorgeously, shaving their legs, armpits, pubes and wearing (or not wearing rather) revealing garments. The biggest fantasy for me was to keep the hair untied, which too was not allowed. I had never dreamt of trimming even a little, as my parents had told me that it is a taboo, and if you dared to remove even one bit, single bit hair from any part of your body, you will be burnt alive. This fear was deep struck in my psyche, my mind.

or last 3 months, I have been living in Chandigarh in the hostel, away from my parents, living in a tiny hamlet, 280 kilometres away from the big city, where I am doing my MBA. For last few days, the sms's from this unknown stranger boy, who now claims to be dumb, have been motivating me and reviving my hairfetish. He constantly persists to behold me and says that he will like to see me in a haircut.
He said his name is Rohin and he is coming on Monday. On Sunday, I go to the beauty parlor, gets my hair cut and my eyebrows 'made' shaped, styled, arched for the very first time in my life and look different. On Monday, I open the door when there is a knock at the door. My friend Rohini is there, "I am Rohin, sorry Rohini. You look gorgeous with your haircut. See it is April One today, but I did not make you a fool, but helped take a wise decision. You looked great earlier too. But now, you look sexy, gorgeous, hot, modern and spicy too."
