Sam was laying on her bed watching the Real World on MTV, when her mom and sisters got home. "Hi Sammy, were back," her mother called as she walked up the stairs. Sam hopped off of her bed, and ran to open her bedroom door. When she opened it her mom stepped inside her bedroom. Sam gave her mom a hug, then said, "what do you think of my new haircut mom?" "My god Samantha. You cut your hair shorter. I'll never understand you." Her mom said. "Well, let me have a look," Amy said as she pushed her daughter out and studied Sam's new look. "Turn around and let me see the back," So Sam turned, and as her mom saw the back she said, "Shit Sam, it's shaved!" "I know mom, I love it that way." Sam said as she put her hand up to her nape and rubbed it. "God mom, isn't there anything you like about my haircut?" Sam said. After a moment Amy replied, "Well, I think the bangs are cute. There awful short though." "I know, the barber," Sam's mom cut her off, "Barber what the hell do you mean barber? Do you mean to tell me that you've been getting your haircut by a barber? Samantha Marie Hunter. Barber shops are for boys. What in the world ever possessed you to get your hair cut by a barber? Really, if you had to have your hair cut shorter, why didn't you just go to the salon?" "The barber, who just happens to be a woman, said that bangs are very trendy right now. I like to be stylish, so I told her to cut me some." Sam said. "And the reason I went to the barber is because I saw her cutting a girl's hair like what I had before this," she pointed to her head, "And I decided to give it a try." "Besides mom, I really like getting my hair cut at the barber shop. It doesn't smell like perm solution, and there are old ladies gabbing in there. Plus they shaved my neck there. With real hot shaving cream and a straight razor and everything! They don't shave your neck for you at the beauty salons. Plus I think Tammy does a really good job. I mean, see hot perfectly straight she has cut it?" Sam said as she pointed to her head, and turned so her mom could see. "Not that the salon hairstylists cut my hair uneven, but when barbers do it, it's much more precise." She went on. "Mom, I really like Tammy, and getting my hair cut at the barber shop." Sam finished. "Fine. I suppose I can't talk you out of cutting your hair short. And you are sixteen now, so if you want to get your hair cut in a barber shop, there's not much I can do to stop you." Amy reluctantly said to her daughter. Sam gave her a hug and said, "Oh you're the best mom, thanks a bunch." "Well don't expect me to be happy about it she chuckled." "well, I have to go get dinner ready. Come down in about half an hour, ok?" "Sure mom," Sam said, as she went back to watching The Real World.
After dinner Sam's mom took her three sisters to a friend's house for the weekend, because she was flying out to California to meet her husband there for some fancy business parties. Sam walked back into her bedroom, and turned on her stereo. "Gosh it's so hot out," she said to herself, as she opened a window. "I think going swimming sounds pretty good right now," Sam said, as she walked to her closet and took one of her new swimsuit out. She went into the bathroom, and put on her new bikini. She had picked it out at Sun Bug, a store downtown, the week before. It was different shades of purple, and had pink, yellow, and lime green hibiscus flowers on it. Then she grabbed a beach towel from the hall closet, and was about to head downstairs, but walked back into her room to turn her stereo off, and close the window. Just as she was about to close her window, a group of guys pulled up in a red convertible. "Hey Sammy," called the guy in the driver's seat. Sam knew that voice anywhere. It was Matt Dennis, who lived down the street from her. He was one of the hottest guys at her school. Well, used to be at her school. Anyways, Sam had had a crush on him for two whole years. Close to the end of the last semester of her eighth grade year, Sam and her family had built their new house. Up until then Sam didn't think Matt even knew who she was. Matt's mom had invited Sam's family over for dinner when they first moved in, so that's how they were formally introduced. Matt would wave when he saw her in the hall, or occasionally drive her to school, but they were just an acquaintance. But towards the end of the year, their families started to do a lot of stuff together. Matt had a couple of younger sisters like Sam did, so doing stuff with his family always seemed to work out pretty well. Throughout the last year, Sam and Matt had done a lot together, so they had become pretty good friends. Not boyfriend-girlfriend friends though, more like brother-sister friends. Samm had almost missed not seeing him for the past few weeks. He must have just gotten back from the senior trip. For the past two weeks several seniors went on a Caribbean cruise. Some sort of graduation present, she thought. "Hey," Sam called back to them. "How's it going?" "We were just driving around in my graduation present from my Dad. Matt's parents had divorced about three years ago. Wanna come take a spin with us?" Matt asked. "Who's us?" Sam questioned. "Oh, just me and Steve and Eric." "God, am I sure lucky today. Matt Dennis, and Steve Murray, and Eric Richards, only the three best looking guys she could think of, wanted her to go for a ride with them." She said to herself. "So what do you say Sam?" Matt called back, are you gonna come?" "Well, I was just going to take a swim." She said. "Hey, can we join you?" Asked Steve. "Do you have suits?" Sam said. "No, but we can drive back and get them, and you could come with us." Matt answered. "What the hell," Sam thought to herself. Her mom was long gone, and wouldn't be back for a few days. And her mom hadn't said she couldn't go anywhere. "Yeah, I'll be right down," she said. The she flashed the guys a smile as she shut the window, then waved teasingly. Sam practically ran down the stairs, but then stopped herself. She didn't want the guys to think she was as excited to be hanging out with them as she really was. So she walked up to her bedroom, and decided to put on some more makeup. She stuck a pair of silver hoop earrings in her ears, then put on a silver matching necklace. She went to her closet and decided to wear her purple strappy sandals. Then Sam took her sarong that she bought with her swimsuit out of her drawer, and knotted it around her waist. She walked over to her full length mirror, and checked to see that she looked good. Then, seeing her sunglass rack, picked out her hot pink sunglasses, with the light pink lenses, but then decided that those looked light daytime sunglasses, so she grabbed her shiny black Oakleys instead. She had on enough pink anyways. A little black would look great. She stuck them on her forehead, and ran quickly down the stairs. She had stalled long enough. She walked out the side door, and punched the code into the security box to lock the house. Then she walked around to the front of the house. She could hear the guys bumpin loud music in Matt's car. Just before she rounded the corner to see the front of the house, she stopped and checked to make sure she looked perfect, before she went out with the guys. Then she started to worry about what they would think of her new haircut. They hadn't seen it yet. Sam's stomach was full of butterflies, but she forced herself to keep on walking. As she was walking out in front of the house, she could see the three guys laughing as they listened to the music. The didn't notice she had come out. Sam cleared her throat to catch their attention. Eric, the only one hearing, turned his head. He slapped Matt's arm, and sat there with his eyes wide open in total shock. Matt turned the music down, and turned and said, "hey, whad'ja do tha- he gasped as he saw Sam walking casually over to the car. Steve had turned his head by this time too. "Oh My God." Matt said. Sam gently lifted her sunglasses off of her eyes, and hooked them over her sarong. "Oh, um, I mean," his face had turned bright red, "hey Sam, as he jumped out of the car, and walked to open the door for her. "Dude, move," he said to Steve, m pointing to the back seat. "Geeze, well fine, be that way," he stammered, still staring at Sam in disbelief, as he almost tripped as he got into the back of the car. Matt helped Sam into the car, then ran to the driver's side and got back in. He too, like Eric and Steve couldn't take his eyes off Sam. Sam knew that her new haircut was the reason the guys were acting weird, but none of them said anything about it. Sam, loving the attention, just held her head up high, and tried to act as mature as possible. After what seemed to be an eternity of that awkward silence, with three pairs of eyes glued to Sam, Matt finally stammered, "what do you think about my new ride Sam?" "Oh, it's nice," she answered casually, trying not to sound like she really cared." She had learned from watching older girls with him, that he wants girls that play hard to get. As hard as it was to not sound as excited as she was, hanging out with older guys, Sam forced herself to act more like a girl their age. "Well, do you want to just go straight to my house to get our stuff, or do you want to drive around town for a while?" Matt asked her politely, eager to please her. "Oh, I don't care Matt. Just go wherever you want to. It's your car." Sam answered, secretly hoping that he would drive in to town, so that everyone could see her in the front seat of Matt Dennis' convertible. "Alright," Matt said. "Why don't we stop by my house so I can grab my trunks," Sam's heart sank as he said that. "then we can go down town for an ice cream or something." He finished. Sam's heart leapt, but she didn't let her face show it. "Then on the way back we can drop the guys off at their houses and they can grab their swimsuits and drive back to your house." Matt said. "Dude, why can't we catch a ride with you?" Eric demanded. "Because I don't want to drive you two losers home." Matt answered sarcastically. "Come on bro, you know my car's in the shop. How am I gonna get home?" Steve whined. Matt rolled his eyes and said, "you can walk for all I care." Feeling somewhat sympathetic, Sam said, "Steve, Eric would probably be happy to give you a lift. "Oh, fine," Steve said, seeming disappointed. "Ok, now that we know what we are doing, and we please go?" Matt said, as he put the key in the ignition and turned the car on. Sam put her sunglasses back on and leaned back in her seat. As they drove down the road the warm summer breeze swayed Sam's short hair and tickled her neck where it had been shaved. She ran her fingers through her hair and then slowly rubbed her shaved nape. "Gosh this warm weather feels nice," Sam said to Matt. "Yeah, aren't you glad you decided to come with us?" Matt turned and said to her. "I'm glad," He said, as they smiled at each other and rode down the street to Matt's house. When they got there Matt ran inside and grabbed his swim trunks. He raced back to the car and they drove downtown.
As they approached the ice cream parlor Sam could see about twenty teenagers there. Several from Matt's class. None of them had seen Sam's new haircut either, so she began to get nervous. Matt waved and called out to them, "hey everybody! Check out my new ride," he said as he parked in front of Yummies, one of the coolest hangouts in town. Sam saw all of the people licking their ice cream cones and chatting away. A bunch of them went silent as Sam stepped out of the car and they noticed her hair had been cut short. A guy named Brad and his girlfriend Maggie walked over and said hi to Matt. Maggie's older sister Morgan used to baby-sit for Sam and her sisters, and occasionally Maggie came along to play with Sam when they were younger. Although Maggie always seemed to treat Sam like she was younger and kind of babied her. Several more guys made there way over to Matt's new car where they were all checking it out. Maggie took Sam and led her over to the bench where all the girls were sitting. She sat down and motioned for Sam to sit next to her. "Hey, so how's your summer been so far Sam?" She asked. "Oh, it's been ok. I've been pretty busy though, so I haven't gotten out much." Sam answered. "Yeah, time just flies by doesn't it?" Maggie said. "uh huh," Sam said back hoping that Matt would finish talking. "Gee, It seems like I haven't talked to you in ages," Maggie said. "Well, I guess we haven't have we?" Sam said trying to be polite. "How are your parents?" "Oh, there in California right now." Sam told her. "Who's staying with you?" Maggie questioned. "No one. My parent's usually let me stay home by myself without them when they go on trips." Sam answered. "Gosh, aren't you a bit young for that?" Maggie asked skeptically, not seeming to believe what Sam was saying." "No, I'm sixteen," Sam said. "Oh my," Maggie said. "I guess I forgot that you are growing up. Just look at you, you are starting to develop into a little lady." Maggie said, acting sweetly to her and making it seem like she was tem years older than Sam was. What did she mean, starting to look like a little lady? Sam sat there almost embarrassed in front of all the other girls who were staring at her. then Maggie continued, "and Sam, your new haircut is so cut on you." As she reached over to pet Sam on the head. Sam saw it coming and ducked out of the way. "Um, I'd rather you didn't touch my hair thank you." "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean any harm," Maggie said innocently as she ran her fingers through her long reddish brown hair. Thank God, Sam said to herself as she saw Matt coming towards her. "Ready for some ice cream Sam?" He said as he held out his hand towards her and helped her up. "Oh, I think it's so sweet of you to keep an eye on little Sammy here," Maggie said sweetly, as she hunched over and patted Sam's shoulder. "Actually," Matt said back, "Sam is watching herself. I just wanted to spend some time with her tonight since I haven't seen her in a few weeks." Then he turned and smiled at Sam and put his arm around her. "Aw, that's so cute," Maggie exclaimed. "I think it's so nice that you are like the big brother poor Sammy never had Matt." "Well Maggie, Sam and I don't look at each other that way. And we are sort of on a date right now, so if you could please move so that we could go in to get our ice cream, we would appreciate it." When Matt said "Date", Sam's heart jumped a mile high. "Oh, well, I'm sooooo sorry about that," Maggie said sarcastically to Matt and Sam, and she took a step away from the door and opened it hastily, with her arm motioning them to go inside. "I hope you have a really nice time," Then she turned around and went on talking to her friends. Sam knew that Maggie wasn't too happy to hear that Matt was on a date with Sam. She had a crush on him for several years, but they never went out or anything. As much as Maggie tried to flirt with him or catch his attention, he wasn't interested. "Sorry about that Sam," he said as they walked over to a booth. "Maggie is always rude to the girls I date." Sam smiled at him and said, "well, she's not here now, is she." "Nope, but she's shooting you mean looks," he said pointing out the window. "Sam turned around and saw Maggie staring at her." "Don't mind her though Sam. She's just jealous that I'm here with you and not her. She is so immature." Matt said, obviously irritated by Maggie's actions. Then Matt saw Steve and Eric coming in to join them. Matt quickly got out of his seat and sat by Sam so one of the other guys wouldn't. They sat down and then the waiter walked over. After Steve and Eric ordered, Matt asked Sam what she wanted. "I'm not sure." She said. "Why don't you just pick for me?" "Alright, we'll have a Yummie's double decker sundae with two spoons please." Matt told the waiter. Sam was so excited that he said two spoons. She always wanted to share a sundae with a cute boy. She was glad that Matt was the one. When their orders came, Matt took both spoons and scooped ice cream on them. He said, "open up," as he spooned ice cream into Sam's mouth as well as his own at the same time. They both giggled as they ate their ice cream. Sam took small dainty bites while Matt took huge ones. After Sam had a little bit, she said, "whew, I'm so full I could explode." "Gosh all you girls are the same. You can't eat anything." Steve said as he kept on eating his own ice cream. "Oh leave her alone, " Matt said. "girls just aren't pigs like guys are." Sam laughed. When the guys finally finished eating, they paid for their dessert, and walked back to Matt's car. They dropped Steve and Eric off at their houses and headed back to Sam's. When they finally got there Sam took Matt around to the back of the house and punched the code into the security box to open the house. Matt followed her inside. "The bathroom is right over there Matt," Sam said, pointing tot he bathroom. "Ok, thanks. I promise I'll be quick. I really want to talk to you before the guys get here." "Ok" Sam said, wondering what he wanted to say to her. When he came out of the bathroom, Sam grabbed her towel, and picked up Matt's and then they walked out onto the back patio.
Sam was so excited. She was on a real "date" with Matt Dennis, the guy she had only dreamed about dating. Sam sat down by the side of the pool, and took her sandals and sarong off. She put her sunglasses on one of the beach chairs, and stood by the stairs waiting for Matt. "Ready," she called to him, "Um, yeah," he managed to say as he stared at Sam. He ran over to the deep end of the pool and dove in. He swam over the the stairs, and put his hand out. Sam took it and he guided her into the water. She swam over to the other side of the pool to get a large raft to lay on. She was careful not to get her hair wet. She laid on the front of the raft, and Matt swam over and joined her. They paddled around, just relaxing for a while, then Sam said, "so Matt, what did you want to talk to me about?" "Oh, um, Ok," he said. "Well, I, um, you, ah, gosh Sammy look at you." "look at me?" Sam questioned batting her eye lashes. "Well, that's not what I meant." Matt said. "God Sam, you have just changed so much. It seems like you were a kid a month ago when we went out on your boat with your family. Up until now, well, Maggie kind of had a point, you were like a sister. I guess tonight I realized you are, well, different. Not like a sister, I suppose." "Oh, yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense," Sam replied sarcastically. "No, I just meant, um you are well, it's just weird, you know?" Matt finally uttered. "No, not really, what's so weird? Do you think that I'm weird?" Sam asked. "No, not at all Sam. Damn this is hard to say Sam." "just say it then." Sam said to him. "Sam you are so pretty. I mean, not that you were ever ugly, it's just you look so much older than you did a while ago. It's like you grew up during the three weeks I was gone or something." "Ok," Sam said, trying to sound confused, even though she knew exactly what Matt was trying to say to her. She just wanted to hear him say it. "Do you get what I'm trying to say here?" Matt asked her. "Sure, um, maybe a little, ok, not really much at all." Sam said. "Shit Samantha. You are making this so hard for me." Sam tried to look offended, and she turned her head away from him. "Oh, Sam, no, I didn't mean it like that. This is just really difficult." Matt said, as he turned Sam's head gently to look at him. "Sam, I am just speechless. I look at you and I get all queasy inside. I have no clue what to say to you. It almost scares me." Matt said, as he looked deep into Sam's eyes. "God, you have just turned into this beautiful woman that I can't take my eyes off of." Matt smiled at Sam, who smiled back at him. "I am just sort of shocked that's all. Not in a bad way though, he reassured her. I mean, I saw you at my graduation party before I went away, and you were out there in my yard fooling around with me and the guys, and just seemed like a little tomboy. I just never dreamed that you would be this drop dead gorgeous." Matt said to her. "Well, I guess I am flattered that you think so Matt." Trying not to sound like she wanted him as much as she did. "Sam, um, well, I guess, when you walked out to my car a few hours ago, I expected to see that little tomboy who acted like a sister to me. When I saw you, I barely recognized you. I was just speechless. You were so pretty that it made me weak in the knees. I mean, look at you, you've really grown up. Here you are all nice and tan in a little bikini, looking like you just stepped off of a magazine. And I mean, you got all of that long hair of yours cut off," Matt said, as he gently stroked her hair and her cheek. Sam blushed, and said, "do you like it?" "It makes you look even more beautiful than ever. You don't look like a little girl anymore Sammy, you look like a woman. Seeing you like this just amazes me." Matt finished, reaching over he gave Sam a gentle kiss on her cheek. There peace was interrupted though. From off in the distance, they heard Steve and Eric calling them. "Dude, where are you?" Eric yelled. "Back here," Matt yelled back. He looked Sam in the eye, and said, "well, glad I got that over with," as she and Sam smiled at each other.
Steve and Eric put their towels on the chair, and ran into the pool. Matt swam over to them and they started laughing as they tried to push each other under the water. Sam swam over to them and laid on the raft closer to the edge of the pool. All of the sudden Sam felt someone under her raft. She was quickly tipped over and pushed under water. She came up a few seconds later coughing and spitting. Matt, seeing this, swam to her side, and picked her up. "You alright Sam?" Matt asked her. "Uh huh," she managed. Mat turned hi head to Eric and said, "Dude, what the hell was that for?" "I didn't mean to hurt her, I was just playing man," Eric said. "I'm really sorry Sam." "Oh, it's fine, I know you didn't mean anything," as she smiled at him. "Hey Matt, I think I should probably sit out for a few minutes, ok?" Asked Sam. "Yeah, I think you're right," he said as he walked her over to the stairs and carried her over to the chair. He took his towel and put it around her then carefully set her down on the chair. Then he kneeled down by her side, and said, "Are you sure you are alright Sammy?" "I'm sure" She replied. "Go have fun with the guys," she smiled. Matt jogged over and did a cannonball right next to Eric.
Steve and Eric finally left Sam's house at about 11:30. Matt took Sam's hand and led her over to the hot tub. As they sat down, they could see the moon above them. It was a clear night, and the stars were shining. Matt put his arm around her, and she laid her head on his shoulder. They sat there for quite a while, just silent, staring at the stars, and enjoying each others company. Finally, Matt said, "Sam, I've had a great evening with you. I really enjoyed it." "Me too," said Sam softly, still staring at the stars. Matt hugged her closer, and said, "Sammy, tonight I saw a side of you that I had never seen before. I was totally caught off guard with your new look. But I like it a lot. I mean, I like you a lot. Sam turned and smiled at him. She replied, "Matt, I like you a lot too.' Then turned back around leaning her head on his shoulder. "Sam," Matt said, "I want to do more with you. I want to do more than just date you. I want to have you as mine. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. After waiting a minute, Sam turned and looked him in the eye. Then she said, "Yes Matt, I would love to." Then they both leaned towards each other and kissed under the stars. They stayed out there all night, just happy sitting together.
The next day Matt stayed at Sam's house with her all day. They just sat in her bedroom watching TV and talking. Sam noticed that Matt couldn't stop staring at the back of her neck. She finally said, "Matt, why are you staring at my neck?" "Uh, what do you mean?" Matt said. "You know what I mean Matt." Sam said back as she walked over to her couch and sat next to Matt. Go ahead, touch my nape. It feels so nice Matt. I love to have people rub it." Sam said to him. Matt gently rubbed her shaved nape for a few minutes. "Oh Matt, that feels wonderful." Sam said. Then out of the blue, Matt asked her, "what made you cut your hair so short Sammy?" 'Well, it's a long story. I saw this girl getting her hair cut like this, she pointed to her head, in a barber shop a while ago. I got so hot working at the kids camp that I decided to get mine cut like that too. It was a bit longer the first time she cut it, but when I went back yesterday to have her re-buzz my neck, I decided to have her cut it shorter. I really liked it when she shaved my nape for me. It was so relaxing. I wish I could have her do it every day." Sam said as she rubbed her nape. "Gosh, I can already feel stubble on my neck. I can't believe that my hair grows so fast." As Sam kept rubbing her nape, she noticed that even the buzzed part wasn't as soft as it was yesterday. Then she remembered that she had bought all of that home haircutting stuff yesterday. She started to wonder if Matt could just buzz her nape for her. She could easily tell that Matt was turned on by her hair, so she took a chance. "Hey Matt," She said, "I was wondering if you could cut my hair for me." "What?" Matt said. "Well, the hair that the barber buzzed yesterday has already grown out enough so that it isn't as soft as it was yesterday, and the bottom isn't nice and smooth either. I bough one of those home haircutting kits yesterday, and I was just wondering if you were handy with clippers." Matt thought about it and said, "are you sure you want me to do this?" "I'm positive Matt. I fully trust you. I can always go back to the barber shop and have Tammy fix it if you mess up a little." Sam said as she walked to her closet and fished out the box. She brought it out into her bedroom, and then decided to have it done in her bathroom, where it would be easier to clean up. She got the clippers out and looked at the guides. "Matt, which guide should I have you use?" Sam asked. "Matt walked over and said, "let me see about how short your hair is now." Sam tipped her head down and Matt rubbed her neck, looking at it closely. "I'd say the 1/8th of an inch guide would work, and your hair is a little more than that. If you want we could go the next size shorter though." Sam thought about it and decided that 1/8th would be good to start with, then maybe he could go shorter if she felt like it. Sam sat down on the stool, and Matt grabbed the cape. He snapped it around her neck, and picked up the clippers. He plugged them in. "here goes," he said, as she turned them on. Sam heard the ever familiar POP hummm. Matt would buzz a patch, then start on another. Matt carefully finished buzzing Sam's nape, then caressed it with his hands when he was done. Sam was thoroughly enjoying this. Then Sam reached into the box and got out the shaving cream and disposable razors, and handed them to Matt. "Matt, I'd like you to now shaved my hairline. Just taper it so it's completely smooth at the bottom." She said. Matt squirted out a generous amount of shaving cream, and rubbed it onto her nape. Then her took a disposable razor from the package and carefully used it to shave her hairline. After each small stroke, he had to run it under hot water to clean the blade off. The hot blade turned Sam on and made her nipples hard. After about ten minutes, Matt finally said, "all done Sam!" He seemed pretty proud of his work. "Now Sam," he said, "It's not perfect, so don't kill me if it's a bit uneven." Sam laughed, "I'm sure it isn't that bad." Sam got up and looked in her mirror. She rubbed her hand up it, and noticed that there was a patch where Matt had buzzed much higher than the rest of her nape. She looked closer and saw that there was a patch about halfway from the right side to the middle of her neck, where her hair was buzzed a good two inches higher than the rest, and was very noticeable. And the patched that he had shaved were also uneven, and in a couple of spots, he had gone almost all the way up, much higher than Sam had wanted them too. Sam began to worry. She knew that Tammy would be able to fix this, but it was going to be a lot shorter. Her mom would have a fit. "Well, she said, I guess I'll need to take a trip to the barber shop this afternoon." as she looked at Matt. "I don't have any way to get there, so would you be able to take me?" she asked him. "Uh, yeah, sure," Matt said. "when do you want to go?" "We'd better go as soon as possible," Sam said. "Let's go right now than," Matt replied as he stood up and walked over to Sam's dresser where he had put his car keys and picked them up. Sam changed her clothes and grabbed her purse, then walked down stairs with Matt and got into his car. Matt decided to put the top up on his car so that nobody would be able to see her poor haircut.
When they arrived, it was fairly busy downtown, so Matt let Sam off outside of the shop, and went to find a parking place. "Why don't yo take this," Matt said, handing Sam his baseball cap. "It looks like there's going to be a wait in there. I'll be back as sune as I can get a spot, ok?" "Alright," Sam said, looking extremely nervous as she stepped out of his car and walked into the barber shop. There were five men sitting in the waiting area, all reading newspapers. They all looked up when they saw Sam walk in. She took a seat in the corner, and picked up a Sports Illustrated magazine. There were two extra barbers today, so the line moved pretty quickly. Sam knew that she was going to wait for Tammy though. Matt finally got there just as Tammy was finishing up her last customer. "Next," Tammy called loudly, not paying attention to see who was coming over to her station. Sam walked over and sat down in the large red leather chair, and Matt followed her and put his hand on her shoulder for moral support. "Sam, I'm quite surprised to see you in here so soon, what's the deal?" "Um, well, see, I kind of let my boyfriend buzz my nape for me, and he isn't too great with the clippers," Sam said. "Ok," Tammy said, "let's see the damage," as she took Matt's hat off of Sam's head and handed it back to him. "Well, it is defiantly going to be pretty short Sam, but I can fix it pretty easy." She patted Sam's head. "What would you do to it?" Sam wanted to know. Tammy replied, "well, unfortunately, your boyfriend here buzzed it pretty high on the side, so I'll have to buzz it straight across, unless you want me to cut it really high in the middle, to keep the inverted look, but to tell you the truth, it would look ridiculous." As for the part he shaved, it also goes pretty high. I don't know how well I can fix that, but I will think about it." "Do what you have to," Sam sighed. "This might take a while boyfriend," Tammy said to Matt. "You can go sit down if you want," Sam told him, as Tammy pinned the cape around her neck. Tammy picked up the clippers and turned them on. They only had a small attachment on them. Tammy firmly pushed Sam's head down and started to run the clippers up her nape. Up up up they went. Much higher than they had before. She was starting to worry about what she was going to look like. Sam started to relax though, as the clippers kept eating the tiny hairs at her nape. It was so erotic and was pure pleasure. Sam felt the buzzing machine whirl right up next to her ear, then go up higher. Finally Tammy turned them off. She turned the chair and looked carefully at Sam. "Sam, just to let you know, I think I'm going to have to buzz pretty high. I will need to go more than an inch above each ear. Can you handle that?" Tammy asked sympathetically. "I guess I don't have much of a choice," Sam replied, smiling meekly, trying hard not to burst into tears. "Do you want me to tell you how I'll have to cut it, or would you like me to spare you?" Tammy asked her. Matt saw them talking, and walked back over to the station, and put his hand on Sam's shoulder again. "Is everything alright?" he asked. Tammy said, "Well, poor Sam here is in for a pretty darn short haircut. I'm going to buzz it up to about here, she took her finger and pointed to the spot on Sam's head. "I'm going to also cut her hair to match the buzzed parts, so pretty much the only part of her hair that isn't being cut is her bangs. The rest is all getting cut much shorter." Matt looked into Sam's eyes, and she burst into tears. "I don't want my hair that short," she wailed. "I'm going to look like a boy. I just know it." Matt hugged her and gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek. "Sweetie, I'm so so sorry I messed your hair up. I feel absolutely awful. You won't look like a boy. Even if you did, I would still love you." he said as he hugged her tighter. Sam sniffled, "Tammy, just get it over with." Tammy walked over and picked up the clippers. Matt started to walk back to the waiting area, but then Sam wailed, "No Matt, Please stay with me." As she kept crying. "Alright, let me pull up my chair honey," as he picked up the chair and carried it over to where Sam was sitting. He sat down and held her hand. "It's going to be ok Sammy." He reassured her. Then Tammy turned the clippers back on. She pushed Sam's head into her chest and put the clippers on her nape. The cold steel blades made Sam shiver. Tammy had taken the guide off, so only the blades were there. Tammy ran them up the center of her nape. Sam could feel the cold steel blades chewing her hair up. But they felt so good. Sam had a large orgasm as they ran up her nape. Then moved to the next swath of hair. Then she buzzed off Sam's sideburns. Sam got even wetter as the clippers buzzed off virgin hair. Finally she turned them off and picked up a pair of scissors. She carefully cut Sam's hair in a straight line all the way around her head, very high. Tammy next took the cape off of Sam's shoulders, and replaced it with a big white towel. She took a hot washcloth and rubbed Sam's nape with it. Then she squirted a large amount of hot lather from the machine into her palm. She rubbed it into all of the buzzed spots on Sam's head. She carefully stropped the straight razor on the leather strap, then started to shave Sam's nape. She shaved it in very small strokes, until all of the buzzed parts had been shaved clean. Sam felt the razor scraping off all of the tiny hairs on her neck, sideburns and the back of her head. It made her crazy. Her nipples were rock hard, and her pussy just kept getting wetter. After that, Tammy took another hot washcloth and rubbed any excess shaving cream from Sam's nape. The hot washcloth on the freshly shaved skin made Sam pee her pants, completely drenching them, and was running down the side of the chair. Then Tammy squirted another large blob of hot shaving cream into her hand and applied it to Sam's freshly shaved nape. She washed the straight razor off in hot water, then carefully shaved Sam's nape again. Only this time she was using long, even strokes. Sam could barely hold still. She was so wet that there was now a puddle beneath her chair. Sam was very glad that there were no other customers left and that the other barbers had also gone home, because of the mess she had made with her orgasms. Tammy put the straight razor in the sink, and took out a fresh steaming hot washcloth. She rubbed the newly naked back of Sam's head with it, to get all of the extra lather off. Then she threw the washcloth in the sink, and took a new towel to dry Sam's head off. Tammy rubbed the shaved parts to make sure that she hadn't missed any hairs. She hadn't. She put a few drops of lavender talk on her palm, then rubbed it into Sam's nape. Sam got even wetter as she felt Tammy's fingers caress her shaved nape. She stepped back, and looked carefully at Sam's head. She had been able to fix the damage Matt had done, but the cut was still pretty harsh, at least for a teenage girl to have. Tammy spun the chair around, and looked at Sam. "Honey, It's all even, but it's really short. It will grow out though. I'm sure that you will see some stubble in just a few days." Tammy said, trying to sound optimistic, as she unsnapped the cape from Sam's neck, and handed her the hand mirror. Sam looked in the mirror. She sat there in total shock. What would she say that would explain this? Worse, people would think she was a boy. But then Sam walked into the bathroom, where she could see her whole head, and realized that it wasn't so bad. She reached up and stroked the freshly shaved nape, and it made her shiver. It was so soft, and smooth. It felt awesome. She decided that she didn't look like a boy at all. Having so much of her slender neck exposed, made Sam's features come even more alive. She felt more feminine and sexy than ever before. Matt walked over and rubbed her neck. His cock was noticeably hard. He reached over and gave Sam a big hug. "I think you are more beautiful than ever Sammy," he whispered, as he snuggled her closer. Finally, Sam and Matt walked out of the bathroom and back to the shop, where Tammy was again, cleaning Sam's mess, but she had to use a mop this time. Sam and Matt walked over to the cash register, and Matt got out his wallet. Sam was beaming. Tammy walked over and said, "Sam, I'm not going to charge you for this sweetie, I know this was hard for you." "Oh, no Tammy, I'm glad you had to cut it so short. The longer I stare at myself in the mirror, the more I love it." Sam said, as Matt reached into his wallet and asked Tammy, "how much do you charge?" "No, like I said, this one's on me." Mat looked at Sam, and shook his head and chuckled, "Well, I hope this is enough then," as he placed a $100 bill on the counter and walked out of the barber shop holding Sam's hand, and rubbing her freshly shaved nape. All of a sudden, Sam broke loose and ran back inside. Tammy, if I want to keep my hair like this, how often should I come in to have you shave my neck and stuff?" "Well, Tammy replied, if you really like this haircut. Was there stubble growth on your nape this morning, from where I had shaved it yesterday?" "Yes, my neck was bumpy where you had shaved it yesterday, and the buzzed hairs were a bit longer as well." Sam answered. "Hmm, it sounds like you want it to stay completely smooth, huh?" Tammy asked. Sam nodded. "Well, then I suggest that you come in once a day and I'd be happy to keep shaving your neck." Sounds great," Sam said excitedly, as she walked back out the door and hopped into Matt's car, which he had gone and pulled up to the shop for her. "See you tomorrow!" Sam said, as she waved goodbye to Tammy from outside the barber shop. Tammy knew that one thing was for sure, the more often Sam came in to her shop, the shorter her hair was going to get. Sam was hooked.
