We let our hair grow for months. My shaved head after six or seven months was about 3 to 4 inches while Kate's half inch buzz cut was about 4 to 5 inches long. We had loved our new cuts, enjoying the feel, talking and thinking about how great it felt and looked. Love making was tremendous especially when we decided to go further and shaved our pubic hair. Hairless was such a smooth, sensual touch adding what had already become a fixation and fetish. We loved it but as time passed and the hair on our heads grew we decided it was time for a cut again.
Back to Bob's shop we went at our usual time when we'd likely have a degree of privacy. We tried and were largely successful in containing our excitement as we walked in when Bob peered over the morning paper and then smiled as he recognized us. "It's been a while." he said cheerfully.
"Yup, we figured it was time." I replied.
"Who's first."
"Age before beauty." Kate replied urging me on.
Without any further word I stepped into the chair and settled in as Bob put the cape and tissue into place. "The same?" Bob asked.
"Of course. Let's do it." I replied.
As I removed my glasses and placed them in my lap I noted that Kate was sitting in one of the waiting room chairs seeming a bit nervous and maybe even apprehensive this time. She just didn't seem to have the enthusiasm as before.
Bob didn't seem to notice as he was again oiling up and clipping my hair down to stubble. After the buzz I heard the now familiar shaving cream machine, feeling the cream being dabbed on my head followed by the sound of the razor being strapped. As in the past Bob's work was professional and perfect as he removed the stubble until my head was totally denuded, smooth and shiny. Removing the cape I put my glasses one once again thrilled with the results.
Getting down from the chair Kate stood up and moved to the barber's chair. Sitting down she leaned over towards then while placing her hand on my bald head whispered "I want this too but you'll have to pay for it. I forgot my money."
Barely able to answer I said "Sure. You got it."
"Same as last tim
e?" Bob asked.
"Nope." She said. "I like what you have been doing for Tom. I want the same."
Bob looked both shocked and pleased as he smiled "Okay, let's get started."
Caping her, turning the chair away from the mirror and oiling up the clippers Bob began in the familiar way but this time with no attachment as he shaved her head to stubble. First the top then moving to the right, back and ending at the left temple. Then came the sound of the shaving cream machine, cream dabbed on her head and the strapping of the razor. Watching Kate I could see she was putting on a brave face though she bite her lower lip and hold her eyes together tight to prevent any tears from escaping. Bob went about his business like this was second nature to him by now. After finishing her up and before he removed the cape Kate took her hand off from under the cape to touch her head.
"Oh my God." she exclaimed. Looking at me she said "I thought bald felt good on you but on myself it is just too much for words."
Removing the cape Bob said half joking, "That should due you two for the next 6 months."
Kate got out of the chair getting a closer view in the mirror as she rubbed her now bald head. "I don't know about that. Sooner most likely." she replied with a smile. Surprised at her response I paid Bob with a handsome tip and we left.
With the sun shining on both our heads I asked why she decided to go bald. "I was curious. Getting the buzz last time was a sort of test to see if I liked it real short. Sort of preparing myself mentally for this time." was her response.
"Were you serious about going back more often?" I asked.
"I love this. It is a turn on and I look and feel fabulous. I may have to either go every week or I will have to learn how to do it myself." she replied.
True to her word Kate and I have gone back to Bob's every 2 to 3 weeks to keep our new look. So what had started out as me returning to get my hair shaved after a long absence has become something much more often and more gratifying that I ever imagined.
