Julia walked on a sunny afternoon in the huge shopping mall near her house. She loved to spend hours at the mall. From time to time, she saw what she wanted and bought it with her credit card. She loved to spend money and used her credit card a lot in her life.
Two girls around her age, draw her attention. Both were bald and looked fabulous without a single hair on their head.
She knew there was a new barbershop in the mall, but she could not believe the girls had gone to there for a shave.
Julia had long hair, what needed a haircut. She spent more money on her hair than on her clothes. A simple plane white T-shirt and her old jeans was all she was wearing. Her old pair of trainers fitted well with her simple clothes. Compare to her clothes, her hair looked healthy and was in perfect condition. Still, it was too long for Julia and she wanted to cut it much shorter. She passed the new barbershop and looked inside.
Sue, the new owner of the barbershop was shaving a young woman’s head, who wanted a cool look for the summer. She saw Julia watching inside and hoped she would enter her shop. However, the girl walked further and had no attention in getting her hair done by the cool, young barberette, Sue.
Sue, a barberette in her mid-twenties had set up this shop with the help of her parents, who encouraged their daughter in running her own business. She loved hair and followed a hairdressing course. She succeeded her course and saw this empty spot in the mall. The rent was low, because no other shop wanted to start a business. However, Sue saw a great opportunity in starting her own barbershop. It was close to the food court and some women’s clothes shops.
Julia had seen the girl in the chair. She was getting her head shaved. It was much cooler to be bald instead of carrying so much weight of hair on your head. Even Julia was thinking lately of getting her head shaved. She wondered how she would look like. Being bald was in the summer cool and she would save many dollars. She already spent over the last twelve months around a thousand of dollars on her long hair and she could save that money, if she decided to shave her head.
She bought a new sexy top and tight, short skirt for the summer and paid it with her credit card. In the mirror of the shop, she inspected her long dark hair. One of the shop owners had very short hair and saw Julia shaking her head, when she saw how long her hair was.
“There is a new barbershop not far from our shop, Miss. She can do your hair for only $ 5,--. I had mine this morning and I have to say short hair is much cooler with this hot summer.”
“You say five dollars? She does women too?”
“Yes. For five dollars and she will cut your hair short, very short.”
Julia thanked the girl and headed back to the barbershop. It was empty and she walked inside. Sue was rinsing her hands, when she saw Julia walking inside the shop.
“HI, can I help you?”
“Yes. I want a haircut.”
The barbershop was very small. Only one chair in the middle of the shop, a large dressing table full with equipment and a sink in the corner with a chair attached. There was no bench, so the customers had to wait outside, where opposite of the barbershop was a huge bench. Her shop was the nearest to the huge food court.
“Have a seat, Miss. What can I do for you?”
Julia took a seat in the old-fashioned barber chair and inspected her hair for the last time in the huge mirror. She saw Sue ready to cut off her long hair, when she took a pair of clippers. This was the right moment, she thought.
“I want my hair as short as possible and it had to look very cool.”
She did not have the courage to say, “Shave my head. I want to be bald.”
“So, you want it really short and cool, huh.”
Sue clicked on her clippers and adjusted the clippers to ¼ inch. Julia’s hair would be very short, but not bald yet. She took some hair from a side and started cutting. Julia looked satisfied to her barberette, who cut her hair very short.
More hair went off on the side and she started with cutting off her long tresses on top of her head. She hardly left a hair on the girl’s top, when the clippers cut off all her long tresses as short as get.
Sue did not use a cape, so the hair felt straight on Julia’s lap. The crispy, clean white shirt would be within minute’s grey of all the hair she was cutting of Julia’s head. Julia did not mind and looked satisfied to her new look.
“You like it?” Sue asked.
“It is very short, but very cool indeed.” Julia said with a laugh.
“Well, Miss. You wanted it very short and cool, so this will be your new look.”
More hair went off until she had no long hair left on her head. She was not bald yet, but was on its way. Sue took a different pair of clippers and adjusted the clippers to #0000. She clicked them on and started shaving Julia’s head bald. This time the clippers touched the skin of her skull and she saw the white flesh of her bald skull.
“You want it all off?” Sue asked.
Julia nodded and saw how Sue shaved her head bald with the clippers. She loved the feeling and hoped she would shave her head with shaving cream. She saved a lot of money with this new look and it was easy to maintain. She saw herself in the mirror and loved her new look. A baldhead suited her well.
“You want it shaved as well?” Sue asked her.
She walked to the sink and rinsed a towel until it was hot. She wrapped the hot towel on Julia’s shaved head and let her enjoy the sensation of the hot towel. She steamed her head and in the meantime, she heated up the shaving cream.
“So. Let me shave your head nice and smooth.” She said with a smile.
Julia felt the warm cream on her head, when Sue smeared a thick layer of shaving cream on her shaved head. She took a razor and shaved Julia’s head bald and smooth. Julia looked satisfied to her new baldhead in the mirror and thanked the barberette for her shave. With this new look, she would save thousands of dollars that she could use on other things. No more hair for her. She looked great without a single hair on top of her head.
“This is what you want, I guess.” Sue said when Julia was finished.
“This feels very cool indeed.”
She opened her purse and paid Sue five dollars for the shave. Sue pointed towards a small donation pot. Julia gave her another five dollars note and took off her white T-shirt. Underneath she had no bra, so Sue saw her breasts, which looked nicely tainted.
“If you don’t mind. I want to wear my new clothes with this new look.”
She took off her jeans and put on her new tight short skirt and top. She looked feminine with her clothes, but not with her hair. Nevertheless, Julia loved the feeling of being bald and had finally shaved her head, what she always wanted to do, but never had found the courage. She walked satisfied further in the mall, when a businesswoman entered the small barbershop. It was her turn to shave her head. Julia saw her half an hour later in the food court bald as she was. Like Julia, she looked beautiful without her long hair. Bald really looks good on women.
