Hi my name is Erica. I am 23 years old, married to the most wonderful husband in the world.

My story is true and was the most wonderful day of my life.

My husband Tony came in one day from work, and notice that I was not feeling well. He asked me what was wrong; I told him nothing and went on cooking dinner. Tony went to clean up for dinner, when he came back into the dinning room he had a book in his hand. I noticed that it was the book I had on different hairstyles. Tony asks me if I was looking at changing my hairstyle. I told him that I was not happy with my current style. My hair was down to the middle of the back and very straight. I only had trims for the past 5 years and never had a short cut.

I put dinner on the table and we continued to talk about the book. Tony was looking at the pictures and noticed that all the styles were very short. Tony asked me if I wanted to go to a shorter style, I told him I would like to try one if he would let me. Tony told me that he had a confession to make. He told me that he loves the shorter styles and if I wanted to go shorter it was ok with him. This was Friday night. I call my friend who was a stylist and asked if I could get an appointment. Mike the stylist told me to be at his shop at 10 am the next morning. I could hardly wait until the next day to come. Saturday morning finally came after a very long night. I asked Tony if he wanted to come along and see the cut in progress. Tony told me to go by myself and surprise him when I came home.

I arrived at Mikes place a little before 10 she went in and the shop was empty no customers all. Mike greeted me and told me to come on in and have a seat.

Mike started to discuss what type of style I had in mind. I told him I wanted something real short. I looked around the shop where some pictures of different cut we hanging. I saw a real short cut that looked like a mans cut. I asked Mike what type of cut it was. He told me it was a clipper cut. I told him that is what I wanted. Mike asked if she was sure, telling her is was real short and close to the head. I told him to get started with the cut.

Mike caped me and brushed out my long mane of black beautiful hair. He asked me if he could donate it to Locks Of Love I agreed, Mike told me that he was going to remove all the bulk. He put my hair into 3 sections. He asked me if I was ready. I nodded my head and with that Mike removed the first section, I gasped and started to tear up. Mike told me it was too late to stop. I told him to please continue and to remove it as quickly as possible. Mike took his shears and removed the other sections. Mike told me that he was going to start clipping and with that the clippers started up. Mike ran the clippers up the back of my head. I almost jumped out of the chair when I felt the clippers. Mike continued to run the over my head until he had the hair on the back and sides reduced to ? inch. Mike then started to taper the hair at the hairline until it was just 1/16 inch. Then he turned to cutting the top. Mike uses the clippers over comb to cut the top hair. He cut it to about 1 and ? inches on top. When he finished he noticed that I was smiling and crying at the same time. Mike asked me if I was all right, I told he that I was so excited that I could not wait to get home and show Tony.

When I arrived home Tony was in the den waiting for me. I walked in and Tony just looked. He then ran over to me and started running his hand through my hair. Tony shouted you look fantastic. I ask if he liked it. Tony told me not to ever let it grow out again. Tony went to the telephone and called Mike, Tony told him what a fantastic job he did on his wife and from now on he wanted Mike to keep my hair short and if he wanted go even shorter the next time.

It has been 3 months since the cut and Tony want me to go back and get it cut again.

Tony called Mike and told him to set up an appointment for me and this time cut it a little shorter.

I can hardly wait for that appointment to come Tony treats me like a queen now better that he ever has and tells me I am his Queen.
